Sean Rooney

Sean Rooney has extensive experience in the financial industry, with a focus on corporate actions and operations. Sean most recently worked at Wedbush Securities as an Associate Vice President of Investment, where they oversaw various aspects of asset servicing and implemented new systems and procedures to modernize the department. Prior to that, they held various roles at Broadridge, including Senior Business Analyst, Senior Operations Analyst, Senior Analyst, and Consultant. Sean also worked at HSBC Private Banking as a Settlement Specialist Consultant. Sean has a background in settlement consulting, having worked as a Consultant at Deutsche Bank and as a Senior Operations Analyst at Merrill Lynch. Sean also has experience in account management, as they served as a Temporary Account Manager at Atrium Staffing/Gordon Terminal Service Company. In addition, Sean has worked as a Corporate Actions Lead Analyst at Newedge Group LLC. Sean began their career in 2001 at JPMorgan Chase, where they held roles such as Corporate Actions Lead Analyst and Lead Operations Analyst, overseeing corporate action processing, training, and reporting. Sean has a strong knowledge of various financial systems and tools, including ADP Impact, DTC, Bloomberg, and SWIFT.

Sean Rooney attended Caldwell University from 2004 to 2006, where they studied Accounting and Computer Science. Prior to that, in 1994, they also briefly attended Caldwell University, focusing on Finance as a field of study. It is important to note that they did not obtain a degree in either of these fields.
