Alyssa Bernard, PharmD, MS, CVT has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmacy and veterinary medicine. Most recently, they are working as a Customer Care Pharmacist at Wedgewood Pharmacy since August 2022. Prior to this, Alyssa held the position of Veterinary Pharmacy Resident at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine from July 2021 to July 2022. Alyssa also gained experience as a Pharmacy Intern at Tops Markets from August 2019 to May 2021. Earlier in their career, Alyssa served as a Certified Veterinary Technician at Belle Mead Animal Hospital from June 2012 to July 2018.

Alyssa Bernard, PharmD, MS, CVT has an extensive education history. Alyssa attended Wilson College from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Alyssa'smajor areas of study were Veterinary Medical Technology and Biology, with a minor in Chemistry. Following that, they pursued their Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine from 2018 to 2021. Continuing their education, they obtained a Master's Degree in Biomedical Ethics from the same institution from 2020 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Alyssa also holds several certifications. Alyssa is a Registered Pharmacist in both Wisconsin and New Jersey, obtained in September 2021 and August 2021, respectively. Alyssa is also a Registered Pharmacist in Pennsylvania, gained in May 2022. Alyssa is a Certified Veterinary Technician, certified by the New Jersey Veterinarian Technicians and Assistants Board and the Pennsylvania State Board of Veterinary Medicine. Alyssa has also earned the Fear Free Certified Professional designation from Fear Free LLC. Additionally, they hold the ASHP Teaching Certificate from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the Basic Life Support Provider certification from the American Heart Association, both obtained in 2022 and 2019, respectively.
