Calvin Young has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2021, they became a Co-founder and CTO at Weekend Health. Prior to that, they worked as a Partner at Pascal Capital starting in 2018. From 2016 to 2020, they co-founded Galleon, where they modernized shipping optimization for e-commerce companies. Calvin also co-founded Twice (www.liketwice.com) in 2011, an online consignment shop that raised $23MM in funding and was later acquired by eBay. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Google in 2010 and as a Computer Science Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2008 to 2010. Calvin also had an internship as a Software Engineer at Google in 2009.
Calvin Young attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. During the same period, they also pursued a second Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
