Asbjørn Holmlund is the current Head of EU at [Wefunder](/org/wefunder). Prior to this, they were an Investment Associate (Venture Capital) at [Vækstfonden](/org/vaekstfonden) from August 2020 to May 2022. Asbjørn also served as an Analyst (Venture Capital) at [Vækstfonden](/org/vaekstfonden) from May 2019 to August 2020, and as a Student Analyst (Venture Capital) from November 2018 to May 2019. Other companies Asbjørn has been involved with include BWT, [Corti](/org/corti), [Dawn Health](/org/dawnhealth), & more. Asbjørn was promoted to Investment Manager but decided to pursue an operational role instead. 

Asbjørn began their career as a Student Research Assistant at the Department of Economics at [Copenhagen Business School](/org/copenhagen-business-school) from November 2018 to May 2019. Asbjørn then became an Instructor in Microeconomics at [Copenhagen Business School](/org/copenhagen-business-school) from September 2017 to August 2019. Following this, they did a BizDev Internship for New Ventures at [Blazar Capital](/org/blazar-capital) from February 2018 to July 2018.

Asbjørn Holmlund has a MSc in Advanced Economics and Finance from [Copenhagen Business School](/org/copenhagen-business-school), and has also studied economics as an undergraduate at [Columbia University](/org/columbia-university) in the City of New York. Asbjørn also has a BSc of Economics and Business Administration from [Copenhagen Business School](/org/copenhagen-business-school). In addition, they are certified from Kauffman Fellows in Venture Deals by Brad Feld & Jason Mendelson.

Asbjørn Holmlund reports to Nick Tommarello, Founder & CEO. They work with William Sulinski - Head of Growth, Adrian Parlow - General Counsel, and Greg Belote - CTO & co-Founder.

Benjamin Garcia is currently a Fundraising Team member at [Wefunder](/org/wefunder), a position they have held since July of 2019. Prior to working at [Wefunder](/org/wefunder), Garcia was employed at Yu Medical Corporation from June 2016 to July 2019 as a Medical Assistant. Benjamin's responsibilities included performing wellness checks, preparing vaccinations, scheduling patients, corresponding with insurance companies, and handling all matters pertaining to billing. Additionally, Garcia worked as a Tutor at Focus Consulting from June 2016 to June 2019, where they taught small classes in AP physics, AP calculus, AP biology, AP chemistry, multivariable calculus, and organic chemistry.

Their manager is Jonny Price, VP of Fundraising. They are on a team with Mattia Astori - Growth, Adolf Akuffo-Afful - Fundraising Team, and Justin Renfro - Fundraising Team.
