Frank Bormann

Frank Bormann has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Frank started their career as a Project/Product Manager at La Vision 2D Messtechnik GmbH in 1997. Frank then worked as a Research Engineer and later as a Technology Innovation Manager at ORGA Kartensysteme from 1999 to 2003. In 2004, they joined Orga Systems GmbH as an R&D Project Manager and eventually became the Director of R&D Energy Solutions from 2012 to 2015. Bormann then worked as a Technical Director Utilities at Redknee Germany OS GmbH from 2015 to 2018. Currently, they are the Head of Product Management Engineering Software at Weidmüller Deutschland, a role they have held since February 2018. Later, in October 2020, they also took on the position of Head of International Training Center at the same company.

Frank Bormann pursued their education at Bielefeld University from 1987 to 1997, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Physical Sciences. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Cybersecurity Deep Dive: Mastering ICS Malware Threats from RealPars in September 2023.
