Kimberly Moreira

Kimberly Moreira has a diverse work experience, starting in 2010 as a Nurse Assistant at Millenium Pediatrics, where they assisted nurses and performed administrative tasks. Kimberly then worked as a Hostess/Receptionist at Fox Hollow Catering Hall and provided welcoming and accommodating service to guests. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Server/Cashier at Luigis Pizzaria, where they served customers, trained new employees, and maintained restaurant cleanliness.

In 2016, Kimberly worked as a Co-Translator at Adelphi University, collaborating with their Advanced Translation class to translate a bilingual novel. Kimberly also worked as a Translator Coordinator at Adelphi University in 2018, organizing and editing a novel translated by the students of the Translation Studies Program.

Kimberly had a role as an Interpreter and Translator for Nueva Generación del Espíritu Santo from 2018 to 2020, where they interpreted during sermons and meetings, translated texts, and traveled as an interpreter and cultural mediator. Kimberly also worked as a Translator Practicum at the Andalusian Interuniversity Institute of Criminology in 2019.

From 2018 to 2019, Kimberly worked as a Translator, translating and editing a novel for publication. Lastly, they worked as a Spanish Customer Service Representative at Wells Fargo Retirement Services from February 2021 to July 2021, providing customer support in Spanish. Currently, they hold the position of Community Director at Weidner Apartment Homes since July 2021.

Kimberly Moreira completed their Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature at Adelphi University from 2012 to 2017. During their time at Adelphi University, they also obtained a Certificate in Translation Studies, specializing in Language Interpretation and Translation. In 2015, Kimberly obtained a Certification in Translation Studies from the same institution. Kimberly furthered their education by pursuing a Master's degree in Translation for the Editorial World at Universidad de Málaga from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, Kimberly obtained various certifications including a Medical Interpreter certification from Hunter College in September 2017, a Leadership Certificate Program from Adelphi University in January 2017, and a Translation Studies certification from Adelphi University in January 2015.
