Jonathan Shankland

Jonathan Shankland is an accomplished legal and rugby professional with extensive experience in performance rugby and private wealth law. Currently serving as Head of Performance Rugby, Commercial & Legal Director, and Head of Men's Rugby at London Welsh Rugby Football Club since January 2017, Jonathan also holds the position of Partner & Head of International Private Wealth at Weightmans, following the merger with RadcliffesLeBrasseur LLP in 2022. Previously, Jonathan was a leading partner at RadcliffesLeBrasseur, specializing in tax and private client advisory for high-net-worth individuals and entities from January 2012 to June 2022. Jonathan's legal career began as a Solicitor at Shakespeare Martineau from 2006 to 2011, after training at the firm's Birmingham Head Office. Jonathan holds a Distinction in the LPC from The College of Law and an LLB in Law from the University of Liverpool.
