Tony Cannon

Tony Cannon has extensive experience in finance leadership, currently serving as Finance Director at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in London since October 2017. Prior to this role, Tony worked as an interim finance consultant and executive for several months in 2017 and spent nearly 17 years as Finance Director at Weightmans, where responsibilities included leading a 40-member finance team across 11 offices, enhancing profitability, and managing mergers. Additional experience includes founding and staffing the London office of Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft and holding finance roles at Linklaters and Deloitte Haskins + Sells. Tony's career in finance began as a manager at edward moore & sons, further evolving through various senior managerial positions, culminating in over three decades of professional expertise. Tony is also a member of ICAEW, having been active from 1980 to 2010.
