Miles Sanchez

Miles Sanchez is the Senior Vice President and Director of Mountain and West Regions at Weingarten Realty. Miles has over 25 years of experience in the shopping center real estate industry and is responsible for leading a team of associates to manage and grow a portfolio of over 80 shopping centers in key markets throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.

Miles Sanchez began their career in the retail and mixed-use projects industry in 1995 as a Vice President and Regional Director of Leasing for Weingarten Realty Investors. In this role, they were responsible for leasing, development, and redevelopment projects as well as asset management, team leadership and development, strategic planning, forecasting/budgeting/financial growth responsibilities, negotiations and dispute resolutions, legal contracts and documents, tenant relations, business development, and brokerage relations.

In 2006, Miles Sanchez left Weingarten Realty Investors to become a Principal at Western Retail Advisors where they continued their work in retail brokerage with a focus on tenant representation and landlord representation. In 2008, they returned to Weingarten Realty as their Senior Vice President.

Miles Sanchez has a proven track record as a successful shopping center real estate executive with a keen understanding of the retail market. Miles is a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills who has successfully completed numerous leasing, development, and acquisition projects throughout their career.

Miles Sanchez has a BBA in Real Estate and Finance from New Mexico State University. Miles also attended the New Mexico Military Institute.
