Timothy M. Frakes

Tim joined Weingarten in 1994 as a Regional Leasing Executive and opened the first regional office based in the Phoenix. Tim was promoted to Regional Development Director in 2000, and in 2003, Tim was promoted to Vice President / Senior Regional Director of New Development and Acquisitions. In 2017, Tim was promoted to Senior Vice President, New Development and Acquisitions and is responsible for all growth opportunities in the Western United States. Since 2003, Tim has developed and/or acquired 41 shopping centers in 5 states. Tim graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Administration with a major in Finance. Tim was successful in negotiating and acquiring projects such as 8000 Sunset, Scottsdale Waterfront, Stevens Creek Shopping center and other high profile projects.
