Director, Narrative Power at Weissberg Foundation

Leah Salgado has a diverse work experience. Leah is currently the Director of Narrative Strategy at the Weissberg Foundation, a position they have held since June 2023. In these roles, they were responsible for brand messaging, media relations, communications strategy, and membership engagement.

Earlier in their career, Leah worked as an Advocacy Programs Coordinator at Alliance for Justice from September 2014 to February 2015. Leah also served as the Assistant Director of Cornell Forensics at Cornell University from September 2012 to August 2014. Their responsibilities in this role included directing operations for the Cornell International Summer Debate Camp and representing the program on recruitment trips overseas.

Leah Salgado pursued their education from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Inequality Studies from Cornell University. Additionally, during their time at Cornell University, Leah also completed a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Social Inequality.
