Alexey Ilin

Alexey Ilin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of solid-state electronics and micro- and nanoelectronics. Currently serving as a Senior Intern and Visiting Scientist at the Weizmann Institute of Science since December 2022, Alexey has previously held the position of Associate Professor at the National Research University — Higher School of Economics, where a notable undergraduate course on fabrication technology was taught, earning recognition with the "Best Course for New Knowledge and Skills" award. Additional experience includes over 17 years as a researcher at the Kotelnikov Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics, focusing on the development of superconducting bolometers and various characterization techniques. Prior roles include positions as a State Examiner at the Federal Institute of Industrial Property and an entrepreneur at Mayak Publishers Ltd. Alexey holds a PhD in Solid-State Electronics from the Kotelnikov Institute and a Master of Science from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
