Tom Ran is a highly experienced researcher and lecturer, currently serving as a Senior Intern and PostDoc researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science since January 2012. With a strong academic background, Tom completed a PhD in BioTechnology & NanoTechnology at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where the focus was on biomolecular computers under the supervision of Prof. Ehud Shapiro. Prior to this, Tom earned an M.Sc. with a Direct PhD in Biomolecular Computers and holds multiple bachelor's degrees in Computer Science, Life Sciences, and Psychology from Bar-Ilan University. Additionally, since January 2006, Tom has been self-employed as a lecturer, delivering academic and popular lectures across various venues.
