Catherine Begard

Catherine Begard is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in childhood and family services. Currently serving as Directrice enfance famille at Département du Rhône since March 2015, Catherine oversees a team of 50 agents across three services, managing a budget of €35 million and ensuring the execution and evaluation of childhood and family policies. Catherine previously held the position of Responsable du service Protection Maternelle et Infantile at the Département de l'Ain, where responsibilities included the management of maternal and infant health policies and parental support services. Additionally, Catherine has experience in editorial coordination within early childhood at WEKA and has worked on various public policy initiatives in the social domain. Catherine holds advanced degrees in social sciences from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology.
