Leron Fliess

Leron Fliess is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Software Development Group Manager at WEKA since September 2022, Leron previously held the position of Senior Manager in software engineering at Dell Technologies, where Leron managed a development team responsible for critical features in Dell's next-gen midrange storage, PowerStore. Prior to that, Leron was a Team Lead at Dell EMC XtremIO, overseeing a team of C/C++ and Python engineers and contributing to revolutionary datapath features and tools. Leron's career includes roles as a Software Engineer at Dell EMC XtremIO, where significant features such as tracing and recovery infrastructures were developed, and as a VLSI Circuit Designer at Intel Corporation. Leron began a professional journey serving as a Mechanical Engineering Intern in the Israel Defense Forces and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.
