Gopi Mari

Gopi Mari has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to 2022. They began their career as a Graphic Designer at Laserwords in 2010 and worked there until 2012. They then moved on to work as a Production Specialist at Datamatics Inc. from 2012 to 2013. Following that, Gopi joined BORN Group as a Graphic Designer and UX/UI Designer from 2013 to 2019.

In 2019, Gopi joined WeKan Enterprise Solutions as a Senior UX & UI Designer, where they were responsible for gathering requirements, conducting user research, and applying User-Centered Design principles. They also crafted wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to improve user experience. They successfully launched projects within the targeted timeline. Gopi continued to work at WeKan Enterprise Solutions in the same role until March 2022.

After leaving WeKan Enterprise Solutions, Gopi joined Photon as a Senior User Experience Designer in March 2022. In this role, they were responsible for gathering requirements, conducting user research, and applying User-Centered Design principles. They also crafted wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for team communication and user testing. Gopi tested the product with real users to iteratively improve the user experience and worked with relevant stakeholders to launch projects.

In October 2022, Gopi Mari joined WeKan Enterprise Solutions once again, but this time as a Lead Designer.

Gopi Mari completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras, from 2007 to 2010. In addition to formal education, Gopi has obtained various certifications in UX Design and Design Thinking. In April 2022, Gopi became an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner through IBM. Then, in January 2022, Gopi attended the UXINDIA21 International Conference on UX Design organized by UMO Design. Most recently, in May 2023, Gopi completed a UX Design Crash Course on User Experiences through Udemy and a course on Design Thinking for unlocking innovation and user-centricity, also from Udemy.
