General Manager Works Programme at Wel Networks

Dan Coffey MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dan began their career at Cardinal Health in 2000, where they worked as a Procurement Buyer for five years. Dan then joined Chevron in 2005, starting as a Procurement Buyer and later transitioning to roles such as Key Account Manager, Senior Financial Analyst, and Operations Manager. At Chevron, they were responsible for managing a multi-functional team and ensuring the reliability and availability of site systems, as well as bringing new technology to the market. In 2016, Dan joined Z Energy NZ as an Operations Manager, leading a team of eight and overseeing day-to-day operational processes. Dan also held positions such as Retail Strategy Manager and Strategic Initiatives Manager, where they developed various retail strategies and oversaw the development of the brand and customer value proposition. Currently, they work at WEL Networks as the Commercial Energy Markets Manager. In addition to their extensive corporate experience, Dan has served as an Advisory Board Member at Ruption Consulting Group since 2017.

Dan Coffey MBA completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General at The University of Auckland from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Business studies, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General, from Massey University between 2011 and 2013.
