Parash Acharya has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple companies and roles. Parash is currently working at WEL Networks as a Network Engineer-System Architect and DSO Project Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Canterbury as a Researcher Phd Candidate. Parash also has experience as a Network Planning Engineer at Waipa Networks. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Lecturer at Kathmandu University, where they coordinated courses related to Instrumentation and Control, Solid State Drives, Wind Energy, Power Electronics, and Electrical Machines. Parash also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Canterbury and as a Research Officer at KAPEG - Kathmandu Alternative Power and Energy Group, where they focused on the development and installation of wind turbines.

Parash Acharya completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Kathmandu University (KU) from 2001 to 2005. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Canterbury from 2011 to 2013.
