Alex Liu

Alex Liu has a diverse work experience. Alex started their career as an IT Support Specialist at Chow Tai Fook from February 2012 to February 2014. Alex then worked as a Project Manager at Sino-Associates Global Limited, where they redesigned the company's website and achieved a significant increase in page views and unique visitors. From 2016 to 2018, Alex served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas, and as a Software Development Lead at AYC Group. In their role at AYC Group, they contributed to various projects such as the Marketplace Integration Project, Vendor Portal System, and CRM Integration. In 2018, Alex joined Southwest Funding as a Technical Manager before transitioning to WeLab as a Senior Tech Product Manager. At WeLab, they managed a joint venture project between Astra International and WeLab, leading a tech team based in China and Indonesia.

From 2015 to 2017, Alex pursued a Master's degree in Information Technology Management from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas.

Prior to that, from 2007 to 2011, Alex earned a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Shenzhen University.

Before entering university, Alex obtained a High School Diploma from Shenzhen Foreign Languages School between 2004 and 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Alex has also obtained two certifications: the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from the Project Management Institute in March 2023, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, also from the Project Management Institute, in June 2022.
