Gunawan H.

Gunawan H. has a strong background in the financial industry with experience at various companies such as WeLab, PT. XL Axiata Tbk, Standard Chartered Bank, Barclays, and Citi. At WeLab, Gunawan served as the Head of International Markets, where they led the expansion of the international market by building mobile technology and credit products from scratch. Gunawan also successfully integrated and localized the technology, prepared risk infrastructure, secured required licenses, and operated and launched the joint venture and mobile lending product. Prior to that, at PT. XL Axiata Tbk, Gunawan was the Head of Digital Business, responsible for revamping the digital business and innovation of one of the largest telecoms in Indonesia. Additionally, Gunawan has experience in advisory roles and has completed the Stanford Sloan Master Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Throughout their career, Gunawan has held various senior positions in credit, collections, strategy, corporate development, and management.

Gunawan H. pursued their education in a methodical manner. After completing their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Indonesia from 1997 to 2001, they decided to further enhance their knowledge and skills. In 2012, Gunawan enrolled at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they undertook the Sloan Fellow program for a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, specializing in General Management. Gunawan successfully completed the program in 2013.
