Norton Wong

Norton Wong has a comprehensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Senior Programmer at jobsDB before transitioning to a System Analyst role at Win Hanverky Ltd in 2006. In 2008, they became an IT Project Manager at HOHOJO and later joined Macroview Telecom Limited as a Senior System Analyst in 2010. In 2011, Norton joined PwC as a Deputy Manager, and in 2014, they became the Head of IT at Maybank. From 2018 to 2019, Norton served as a Vice President at 星展銀行. In 2019, they joined ZA as the Head of PMO and held the position until 2021. Norton then took on the role of Head Of Project Management Office / Acting Head of IT at RD Technologies from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are the Director of Group Technology at WeLab.

Norton Wong earned a Bachelor's Degree in E-Commerce/Electronic Commerce from City University of Hong Kong, which they attended from 1999 to 2002. Norton later pursued a Master's Degree in Information Technology at The Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, attending from 2005 to 2007. Norton also obtained several certifications throughout their career. Some of their certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2020, Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in 2018, and Licensing Examination for Securities and Futures Intermediaries from Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute in 2014. Norton also holds certifications such as ITIL Foundation Certification in IT – Service Management (obtained in 2011), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) - Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Configuration (obtained in 2011), and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2009. Additionally, Norton obtained certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (obtained in 2006), Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Database Administrator (obtained in 2006), Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) .NET (obtained in 2005), and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): SQL Server 2005 (obtained in 2005). Norton's more recent certifications include AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2018 and Certified Information Systems Auditor - CISA from ISACA in 2018.
