Becky Scheer

Senior Manager, Performance Excellence at WelbeHealth

Becky Scheer has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Becky is currently working at WelbeHealth as the Vice Chair of the LGBTQ+ Business Resource Group and as a Project Manager in Performance Excellence. Prior to WelbeHealth, they worked at Quartet Health as the Senior Manager of Implementation in the Value Based Care Program and as the ERG Lead for the LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group. Becky also served as an Account Manager in Mental Health Provider Network Management at Quartet Health.

Before Quartet Health, Becky worked at Health Plan of San Mateo (HPSM) as the Whole Person Care Program Coordinator. In this role, they acted as a liaison between HPSM and external stakeholders, managed and coordinated services for community-based health programs, and implemented new protocols to improve referral processes and interdisciplinary meetings. Becky also generated data reports, developed written materials, and worked closely with local agencies and providers.

Prior to their work at HPSM, they were a Research Associate at Mills College, where they focused on studying the connections between gender identity, chronic stress, and health outcomes, with a particular emphasis on how these factors affect the transgender and gender non-conforming populations in the US healthcare system.

Becky's earlier work experience includes roles as a Certified Behavior Therapist at Emerging Milestones, a Digital Marketing Assistant at Hatch, and a Private Academic Tutor as a self-employed individual.

Becky Scheer has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Health Psychology from Mills College. In 2019, they pursued further education at Cornell University, where they obtained an Advanced Certificate in Project Management from the College of Engineering. Additionally, in the same year, they completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Health Informatics from the University of Chicago.

Becky also holds two additional certifications. In January 2016, they became a Registered Behavior Technician through the Relias Academy. More recently, in February 2021, they obtained a certification in Key Account Management from NASBA.
