Carrie Lane has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Carrie started their career at Hospice of San Joaquin in 2005 as the Manager of Bereavement and Spiritual Services, where they stayed until February 2018. In March 2018, they joined the California Department of Health Care Services as a PACE Manager until November of the same year. Carrie then moved on to work as a Health Program Coordinator at the County of Sacramento from December 2018 to August 2019. Carrie'smost recent role has been at WelbeHealth, where they were the Director of Training and Development from August 2019 to March 2022. Carrie then transitioned to their current position as Associate Vice President, Learning and Development at WelbeHealth in January 2022.
Carrie Lane has a Master's Degree in Public Health Education and Promotion, which they obtained from National University in the years 2014-2015. Carrie also holds a Master's of Divinity degree in Theology from the San Francisco Theological Seminary, which they obtained from 1990-1994. In 1985-1989, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis. Additionally, Carrie Lane has obtained several certifications. In 2010, they completed a certification in Grief and Loss from the University of California, Berkeley. Furthermore, in 1994, they became an Ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament through the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Additionally, they hold a Certified Hospice Manager certification from the California Association for Health Services at Home (CAHSAH), which they obtained in 2013. Lastly, in 2011, they completed a certification in Thanatology, Death, Dying, and Bereavement from the Association for Death Education and Counseling.
