Gerald Marquez

Gerald Marquez has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations.

From October 2021 to the present, they worked as a Communications and Change Analyst at WelbeHealth.

Prior to that, from September 2021 to December 2021, they served as a Software Engineer Intern in the Externship Program at GitHub. In this role, they collaborated with the Pull Requests team on internal projects and was selected as one of the 22 Fellows for Major League Hacking's GitHub Externship program.

From July 2021 to September 2021, Gerald was an Assistant Director of Strategic Research and Analysis MBSD at the University of Chicago.

Their experience at Caltech spanned from August 2018 to June 2021. Gerald worked as an Assistant Analyst and also took on the role of CASE Advancement Intern. In the latter position, they utilized MS Flow to automate approval processes and implemented project management and change management practices.

In 2020, Gerald was an Engineering Fellow at MLH Fellowship. Gerald was part of a 200-student batch selected out of 10,000 applicants and worked in a team of 10 engineers under the mentorship of professionals from Google, GitHub, Facebook, and Unity.

At the University of California, Riverside, Gerald held various roles starting from October 2014 to May 2018. Gerald worked as a Social Media Marketing Intern, creating dialogue with followers, developing content, and managing alumni social media accounts. Gerald also served as a Student Assistant I, where they led campus tours and maintained office organization. Gerald was an Orientation Leader and held a temporary Student Assistant role during their time at UCR.

Gerald Marquez attended the University of California, Riverside from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications including Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci in September 2021, JP Morgan Chase & Co. Software Engineering Virtual Experience from InsideSherpa in August 2020, and Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp in July 2020.
