Dragan Mrkovic has over 25 years of work experience in engineering positions. Dragan began their career at A.G. SIMPSON in 1995 as a Mechanical Engineer. In 1997, they joined Magna Closures as a Prototype Program Supervisor, where they supervised a team and coordinated prototyping for new and existing programs. Dragan also served as a Design/Project Engineer and Senior Advanced Projects Engineer at Magna Closures, where they reviewed design outputs, provided technical liaison with customers and suppliers, and designed and tested functional prototypes.
In 2012, Mrkovic joined Welbilt Inc. as a Senior Engineer, and later took on the role of Engineering Manager in 2015. Dragan was responsible for managing engineering projects and teams, and in 2020, they were promoted to Senior Engineering Manager at Welbilt Inc.
Dragan Mrkovic began their education in 1981 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sarajevo in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia. Dragan completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1986. Dragan then pursued further education at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Zagreb in Zagreb, Yugoslavia, where they obtained their Master's Degree. The duration of their Master's program was from 1987 to 1989. No specific degree or field of study was provided for their Master's Degree.
