Jim Altman

Jim Altman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jim is currently working as an Adjunct Faculty at Metropolitan State University of Denver since 2022. Previously, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Welch Equipment Company, Builders, and Howell Construction. At Setpoint Systems Corporation, they worked as an Interim Chief Financial Officer. Jim also co-founded Right Klick, an internet-based marketing consulting and strategy firm. Additionally, they have held positions such as High School Football Official at the Colorado Football Officals Association and Director of Finance/Controller at ADA-ES. At Clifton Gunderson LLP, they worked as a Senior Manager, developing client relationships and managing audit engagements. Before that, they worked as a Contract Financial Resource Provider at James A. Altman, CPA, where they worked on various projects including SEC restatements, financial reporting, and SOx testing.

Jim Altman completed their Executive MBA in Executive Business Leadership at the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, from 1981 to 1985, they obtained their BA in Accounting and Business Management from Anderson University. In addition to their degrees, Jim also holds several certifications, namely:

1. Argyle Speaker from Canvas Credentials (Badgr), obtained in August 2022.

2. Chartered Global Management Accountant from AICPA / CIMA, obtained in July 2012.

3. Certified Public Accountant from Colorado, obtained in January 1997.

4. Certified Public Accountant from Indiana, obtained in December 1988.
