Ramachandra C. has extensive work experience in the field of metallurgy and materials science. Ramachandra began their career as a faculty member at the Indian Institute of Technology, conducting research and teaching courses on mechanical properties, processing, and microstructure correlations. Ramachandra later joined Hindustan Aeronautics Limited as the Head of the Central Materials & Processes Laboratory, where they led a team in the development of casting and forging processes for aerospace components and conducted investigations into process and product failures.

Ramachandra then worked as a Visiting Scientist at Cleveland State University, participating in research on environmental and thermal barrier coatings for aeroengine parts. Ramachandra later became the Chief Metallurgist at Firth Rixson, leading a team responsible for the research and development of thermomechanical processing for seamless rolled rings. During this time, they achieved NADCAP certification and made significant contributions to product shipping.

Ramachandra's career also includes roles at Carpenter Technology Corporation, Universal Stainless & Alloy Products Inc, and Weldaloy Specialty Forgings. In these positions, they excelled in leading teams, developing new processes and technologies, and increasing revenue through innovative solutions. Ramachandra has extensive experience in working with a variety of alloys, including superalloys, titanium, nickel base alloys, and specialty steels.

Throughout their career, Ramachandra has published numerous research articles and has presented papers at conferences and seminars. Their expertise and contributions have made a significant impact on the aerospace, energy, and manufacturing industries.

Ramachandra C. holds a Ph.D. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. Ramachandra also has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Materials Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Furthermore, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal.
