Diane Gaa, CPTM, SHRM-SCP

Diane Gaa, CPTM, SHRM-SCP has a diverse range of work experience in various leadership and consultancy roles focused on learning and development. Diane is currently the Director of Learning and Development at Sage, where they lead a global team and has successfully reduced technical issues and increased capacity. Prior to this, Diane founded and served as CEO of Simply Innovative Consulting LLC. Additionally, they worked as the Vice President of Learning Strategy & Program Management at WeLearn Learning Services, where they received the Bronze Brandon Hall Awards for their inclusive and sustainable learning strategies. Diane also has extensive experience at Pearson, where they held roles such as Director of Continuous Improvement and Director of Learning and Development. In these positions, they led high-performing teams, developed process improvement methodologies, executed HR strategy improvement initiatives, and implemented learning technology strategies. Diane began their career at Pearson VUE, where they served as a Learning, Performance & Collaboration Advisor and a Lead Test Administrator, gaining experience in onboarding, compliance training, and overseeing test center operations.

Diane Gaa, CPTM, SHRM-SCP, obtained a Certificate in Paralegal from Illinois Central College from 1989 to 1993. Diane then pursued further education and obtained a Certificate of Achievement in Human Resources Management and Services from Villanova University from 2017 to 2018.

In addition to their educational background, Diane Gaa has obtained several certifications. Diane received a Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM) from Training Industry, Inc. in October 2020 and became a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in December 2018. Diane also holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Human Performance Improvement, Customer Service Leadership, Virtual Host, Introduction to Web Accessibility, Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself, Be SaaS, Measuring the Impact of L&D, 10x Innovation Growth, Accessibility, and Accountability at Sage. The dates and institutions of these certifications vary from 2014 to 2023, with the most recent one obtained from Sage in March 2023.
