Dr. Alina Sonne

Dr. Alina Sonne currently serves as the Head of Process & Systems Engineering at Weleda AG, where responsibilities include leading a team of project engineers focused on natural cosmetics and driving innovation within the field. Prior to this role, Dr. Sonne held various positions at the University of Hohenheim, advancing from scientist to postdoc and senior scientist from July 2009 to May 2016. Experience also includes development and application of emulsions at DöhlerGroup and a trainee position at Unilever. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Food Science and Technology from the University of Hohenheim and a Master's degree in Food Science from Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
