Alyssa Hufana

Alyssa Hufana is a licensed clinical psychologist currently working at Orange County Health Psychologists since July 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a licensed psychologist at California State University, Long Beach from September 2022 to July 2024, and completing a postdoctoral residency focused on positive psychology and outreach at UC San Diego Health from August 2021 to July 2022. Prior roles include a doctoral psychology internship at California State University, Long Beach, and advanced psychotherapy externships at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Alyssa's earlier positions include coordination of the Freshmen Summer Research Institute at Caltech and serving as a career guidance counselor assistant at L.A City College. Alyssa holds a PhD in Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology from UC Santa Barbara, an MA in Guidance and Counseling from Loyola Marymount University, and a BA in Social Ecology from UC Irvine.
