James Richards

James Richards is currently the Well Abandonment Director at Well-Safe Solutions, leading the Well-Safe Well Engineering team to develop safe and innovative solutions for Well Decommissioning. Prior to this role, James worked as the Well P&A Team Leader at Canadian Natural Resources Limited, where James successfully planned and executed a 24 well P&A campaign. James also has experience as a Drilling Engineer at BG Group, where James was involved in drilling operations in various locations. James started their career as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at EADS Astrium after completing their MEng in Mechanical Engineering with German from the University of Nottingham.
