William Wood

William Wood is a seasoned subsea engineer with extensive experience spanning over two decades in the marine engineering and subsea industries. Currently employed at Well-Safe Solutions as a Subsea Engineer since February 2022, William previously held positions at Transocean from August 2013 to February 2022, where responsibilities included participation in safety protocols and support for the SWAT Team as an Assistant Subsea Engineer. Prior to that, William worked as a Field Service Engineer at GE, ensuring the effective operation of subsea equipment, and gained valuable experience at Expro as a Subsea Technician, Maersk Line as a Fourth Engineer, and underwent a comprehensive engineer cadetship with a focus on marine engineering. Academic qualifications include multiple higher national diplomas in Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Studies from Glasgow College Of Nautical Studies, as well as a National Certificate in Marine Engineering from Banff & Buchan College.
