William Michael Cunningham is a prominent impact investing, socially responsible investing, and corporate social responsibility consultant. William Michael founded Creative Investment Research in 1990 and has been its CEO, responsible for creating a portfolio that returned 14%. William Michael also served as an adjunct faculty at Georgetown University since 2013, advising the Capstone Project in the Real Estate program. William is a managing partner of MinorityFinance.com and MinorityBank.com, providing business financing research and consultation services primarily focused on women and minority-owned firms. William Michael is also a managing partner of National Crowdfunding Services, LLC. William has been a manager of Social Purpose Investing at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America from 1999-2002 and represented the social screening strategy for ELCA's Social Purpose Funds. William Michael currently serves as a brand ambassador at Wellavi.

William Michael Cunningham holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Howard University, an A.M. degree in Economics from the University of Chicago, and an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. William Michael is also a member of the CFA Institute. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications and memberships such as Series 63 and 65 licensing from FINRA, membership to the Financial Planning Association, and membership to the National Black MBA Association. William Michael has also completed multiple courses and seminars related to ESG investing, financial inclusion, and geopolitical turbulence.
