Rashesh Sanghvi

Rashesh Sanghvi is a Principal Bioinformatician at Wellcome Sanger Institute since September 2019, previously serving as a Senior Bioinformatician at the same organization. Rashesh completed a Graduate Program at Wellcome Genome Startup School from November 2023 to April 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Bioinformatics Analyst at New York Genome Center and a Bioinformatics Programmer II at Baylor College of Medicine, where Rashesh developed analysis pipelines for various sequencing platforms. Early career experiences encompass research and teaching positions at Georgia State University and Emory Genetics Laboratory, focusing on protein structure modeling, autoantibody production, and next-generation sequencing data analysis. Rashesh holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from University of Mumbai.
