Haidee Bell

Haidee Bell is a seasoned professional in community engagement and innovation, currently serving as the Head of Community Engagement and Participation Lead at Wellcome Trust since September 2018. In this role, Haidee leads a team dedicated to placing impacted communities at the forefront of global health initiatives. Previous positions include Strategic Design and Innovation Lead at Wellcome Trust, where Haidee spearheaded various impactful programs, and Head of Innovation at Save the Children UK, focusing on early learning for children in poverty. Haidee has extensive experience in design and social innovation through roles at the Design Council, NESTA, and other organizations. Educational qualifications include an MA in Cultural Policy and Management from Sheffield Hallam University and a BA in Germanic Studies from the University of Sheffield. Haidee is also a Non-Executive Director at The Curiosity Society and has contributed to various initiatives promoting equity and community engagement.
