Senior Research Manager at Wellcome Trust

Rachael Taylor is a Senior Research Manager at the Wellcome Trust, where they oversee research projects related to interventions. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Programme Manager at The Royal Society, where they ran the FLAIR Fellowships programme for African early-career researchers. Rachael has also worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Development Studies, where they were responsible for supporting and facilitating the research component of a project on agroecological food systems in Senegal.

Rachael Taylor has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Agriculture, adaptation and development from the University of Sussex, a Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Change and International Development from The University of Sheffield, and a BSc in Environmental Management and Sustainability from The Manchester Metropolitan University. Rachael also has an NVQ3 in Health and Social Care from Aylesbury Training Center and a BA in Fine Art from the University of Chichester.
