Sabrina Lamour-Julien

Research Lead, Therapeutics at Wellcome Trust

Sabrina Lamour-Julien serves as the Research Lead for Therapeutics in the Infectious Disease team at Wellcome Trust, overseeing a substantial investment portfolio related to neglected tropical diseases and antimicrobial resistance while fostering strategic partnerships with global health organizations and managing diverse teams. Previously, Sabrina held roles as Innovations Associate and Race Equity Network Chair, contributing to the development and management of international translational projects aimed at improving health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries. Prior experience includes project management at Imperial College London for international research initiatives in HIV/AIDS, and a research associate position at UCB Pharma focused on drug discovery in the inflammation therapeutic area. Sabrina holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Medicine Research (Infectious Disease) from Imperial College London, along with an MRes in Biomedical Research and a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences from Durham University.
