Symone Krimowa

Symone Krimowa currently serves as Governance Lead at Wellcome Trust since April 2021 and is a Board Trustee at Bootstrap Charity since May 2020. In addition, Symone holds a volunteer position as an Independent Visitor with Barnardo's from June 2021 to September 2024. Previous roles include Vice Chair of the Local Governing Body at Harris Federation, Senior Manager of Entity Compliance and Governance at EY, and Deputy Company Secretary at Local Pensions Partnership, where significant governance projects were managed. Symone has also served as a Governance Consultant at Prudential Assurance and a Senior Manager at VISTRA, with extensive experience as an Independent Consultant across various organizations. Symone's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in History from UCLA, a Master of Laws and a Master of Science in Ecology & Biodiversity from Victoria University of Wellington, and certification as a Chartered Governance Professional from The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland. Currently, Symone is pursuing a course on Modern & Contemporary American Poetry at the University of Pennsylvania.
