Diana Chapman Walsh is an esteemed academic and leader with extensive experience in public health and higher education. Currently serving as President emerita at Wellesley College, a position held since September 1993, Diana also contributes as a Senior Advisor at the Stanford University Center for Innovation in Global Health and as Co-Founder and Co-Leader of the Council on the Uncertain Future. At Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Diana was a Professor and established the Program in Society and Health from 1990 to 1993. Prior positions include various roles at Boston University from 1976 to 1990 and active involvement with Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts. Diana holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Boston University and has been awarded multiple honorary degrees from institutions such as Rhodes College, Washington University in St. Louis, and Northeastern University.
