Laura M. O'Brien

Laura M. O'Brien currently serves as the Assistant Director for Research Services and Research and Instruction Librarian at Wellesley College, a position held since February 2010. In this role, Laura specializes in research and acts as a liaison for several academic departments, including English & Comparative Literature and Theatre. Additionally, Laura consults with faculty on instructional design across various course formats. Prior to this, Laura was the Center Director at Pinnacle Learning Center from April 2005 to June 2007, where responsibilities included managing a private tutoring center, developing strategic plans for student tutoring, and overseeing a team of tutors. Laura holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Simmons University as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Hamilton College.
