Joanne Marqusee

Joanne Marqusee is the current Chief Integration Officer at Wellforce. Joanne has held this position since March 2021. Prior to their current role, Marqusee served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cooley Dickinson Health Care from March 2014 to March 2021.

Marqusee began their career in 1984 as a Special Assistant in the NYC Office of the Deputy Mayor for Operations. Joanne then served as the Chief of Staff for the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation from 1986 to 1988, followed by a role as Deputy Executive Director for NYC EMS/Health & Hospitals Corporation from 1988 to 1990. Marqusee then transitioned to the public sector, serving as Deputy Director of Healthcare Finance for the New York State Department of Health from 1990 to 1992.

In 1992, Marqusee returned to the healthcare industry, joining Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as Sr. Vice President, Ancillary, Support and Facilities. Joanne held this role until 2008, when they were appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Hallmark Health System, Inc. Marqusee held this position until 2014, when they took on their current role at Wellforce.

Joanne Marqusee has a BA in Linguistics from Cornell University and an MPP in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.

Their manager is Michael J. Dandorph, President & CEO. Joanne Marqusee works with Michael E. Tarnoff - President & CEO, Tufts Medical Center & Tufts Children's Hospital, Michael Wagner - Chief Physician Executive, and Helen Boucher - Chief Academic Officer.
