Paulo Alexandre Martins

Paulo Alexandre Martins is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data and engineering across various sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Manager for Data & Engineering at Gympass since June 2022, Paulo specializes in democratizing data within enterprises, leveraging a strong background in Big Data and Telecommunications. Previously, as a Product Owner and Data Analytics Team Lead at NXP Semiconductors, Paulo was instrumental in developing scalable data strategies and innovative data-driven solutions. Paulo has also held roles as a Solutions Architect at NOS SGPS, where cost-effective Datacenter solutions were designed, and as an Assistant Professor at NOVA School of Science and Technology, where Paulo taught telecommunications and Java programming. Paulo holds an MSc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.
