Obo Idornigie

Obo Idornigie has a strong background in energy research and analysis. Obo currently holds the position of Vice President - Sub-Saharan Africa Research at Welligence Energy Analytics, a role they began in October 2020. Prior to this, Obo spent twelve years at Wood Mackenzie, where they worked as a Research Analyst from October 2008 to October 2020. Obo'searly career includes a position as an Analyst at Nigeria EITI from October 2004 to August 2007.

Obo Idornigie obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and Mining from the University of Jos, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Oil and Gas Economics from the University of Dundee, which they completed between 2007 and 2008.
