Jim Dunscomb

Jim Dunscomb, CHFM has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jim has held various roles in facilities management, plant operations, safety, and risk control. Some of the notable positions they have held include Director of Plant Operations at Wellington Regional Medical Center, Director Facilities Management at Facilities Management Solutions, and Director of Facilities Management at Encompass Healthcare. Jim has also worked as a Manager of Plant Operations & Security at Delray Medical Center and as a Sr. Safety & Loss Control Consultant at 1099 Safety Consulting. Jim's expertise and experience make him a valuable asset in the field of facilities management and safety.

Jim Dunscomb, CHFM, has a diverse education history. Jim attended the NYC Fire Academy in 1986-1987, where they studied Fire Science. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Fire Science from Rochville University from 1998 to 2003. Jim also has education in Police Science, with studies at the NYC Police Academy from 1981 to 1982. Additionally, they attended the Hofstra University from an unspecified date until 2009, earning an Associate degree in Risk Management. Jim also gained knowledge in OSHA regulations, completing courses at the UMDNJ and the Georgia Institute of Technology. Jim received further training in Fire Safety from NYU in 2004. Furthermore, Jim has a background in avionics, having completed the Aviation Electrician "A" School in 1975.

In terms of certifications, Jim obtained the Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification from the AHA in May 2016. Jim also obtained the OSHA Outreach Trainer certification from the US Department of Labor in January 2012. Additionally, Jim has the Certified Sprinkler Fitzer Site Manager (CSFSM) certification awarded by the FDNY.
