As president of Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield of South Dakota and vice president of sales and retention, Jennifer Mentele is responsible for the overall leadership of sales and account management in South Dakota. This includes developing and fostering strong business and member relationships by promoting Wellmark's long history of providing superior health plans and access to care.
In her role, Mentele is engaged in policy and regulatory issues, new business development activities and managing relationships with customers. Mentele also works closely and provides direct leadership to the South Dakota sales team and informal leadership to the business operations with accountability for daily management and execution.
