Mario Simoes

Mario Simoes is an accomplished engineering professional with significant experience in the development of innovative products across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at WellnessSpace Brands since February 2018, Mario has contributed to the creation of wellness products like Hydromassage and CryoLounge+. Previously, Mario held the position of Chief Engineer at FlyMotion Unmanned Systems, where responsibilities included product development for unmanned aerial systems. In earlier roles, Mario served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at BlackHagen Design and as Chief Engineer/Operations Manager at CAMLS, managing project execution and client relationships while ensuring quality management. Mario's career began in theatrical technology at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment and includes relevant internships and assistant positions at Draper Laboratory and the University of South Florida. Mario holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida, along with a Graduate Certificate in Human Factors and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA.
