Shawn Valenta

Shawn Valenta started their work experience in 2001 as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Greenville Health System. Shawn then moved to the Medical University of South Carolina, where they held various roles such as Supervisor and Assistant Manager in Respiratory Therapy, Director and Administrator of Telehealth, and eventually became an Affiliate Faculty member. In 2020, they joined Wellpath as the Vice President of Healthcare Cloud - Clinical Services.

Shawn Valenta completed a Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care Therapy/Therapist from Wheeling University in 2001. Prior to that, they attended Ambridge Area High School from 1993 to 1997. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the Medical University of South Carolina, which they completed in 2011.
