Melissa Henry

Melissa Henry has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the healthcare industry. Melissa is currently the Senior Director of Operations at WellPsyche Medical Group, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, Melissa served as Vice President of Operations at BASE10 Genetics, where they were responsible for overseeing multiple teams and functions to stabilize and grow the company. Melissa also held the role of Senior Director of Client Success at BASE10 Genetics, where they built and led a successful remote team during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before joining BASE10 Genetics, Melissa worked at PopHealthCare as the Director of Operations & Project Management, where they implemented the company's first Enterprise Project Management Office. Melissa also held positions of Senior Project Manager and Operations Project Manager at PopHealthCare.

Earlier in their career, Melissa worked at Brookdale as a Program Manager, where they developed and executed strategic plans across a large number of communities. Melissa was instrumental in merging operations after a major acquisition and designing a new online application storefront.

Melissa began their career as a Nursing Home Administrator at The Alden Network, where they led business operations and regulation compliance for a Skilled Nursing Facility. Melissa also served as a Quality Assurance Leader and successfully completed a facility renovation project. Prior to that, they worked as a Nursing Home Administrator at The Alden Network's Intermediate Care Facilities.

Melissa started their career at Frances House, Inc. as a Resident Services Director.

Melissa Henry attended Illinois State University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a specialization in Organizational Leadership. In addition to their degree, Melissa has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2006, they became a certified Qualified Mental Retardation Professional - Certified Trainer by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Bureau of Recruitment and Selection. Melissa also obtained certification as a Direct Support Person - Certified Trainer from the Illinois Department of Human Services in the same year. In 2007, Melissa obtained a Food Services Sanitation Certificate from the Illinois Department of Public Health. Furthermore, in 2006, they became a certified Nursing Home Administrator through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Melissa's most recent certification was as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in December 2016.
