Derk Meima

Derk Meima is a seasoned leader in the payments industry, currently serving as the Executive Director at Wells Fargo since April 2024, where Derk oversees the Global Treasury Management virtual card product. Prior to this role, Derk was the Senior Director of Global Product Management at i2c Inc., leading strategic partnerships with major payment networks such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Derk's extensive experience also includes a tenure at U.S. Bank as Vice President, focusing on Real-Time Payment solutions and product innovation in Commercial Card platforms, and previously at American Express as Director of Global Product Development, overseeing AP Automation and global electronic payment solutions. Derk began the career at GE as a Strategic Initiatives Leader, driving new product initiatives in corporate payments. Derk holds a Master’s and Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Utah.
