Hadi Afrasiabi

Hadi Afrasiabi is an experienced finance and analytics professional currently serving as Head of Strategic Initiatives for the Investment Portfolio at Wells Fargo, a position held since January 2021. Previously at Wells Fargo Securities, Hadi held the role of Vice President in Mortgage Backed Securities Research, where contributions included market research, client engagement, and tool creation. Prior experience at EXL involved managing consulting projects and automating reporting processes, while early career roles included substantial analytics responsibilities for a major US bank and teaching support during PhD studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Hadi holds a PhD and MSc in Electrical and Systems Engineering and Electrical Engineering, respectively, from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BSc from Sharif University of Technology.
